Tinubu’s Daughter Rejects Lagos APC Primary Results, Threatens Protest

Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reportedly rejected the outcome of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections.
She was also said to have threatened a protest over alleged irregularities in the conduct of the party primaries across the state.
According to reports, Tinubu-Ojo expressed dissatisfaction with the process and outcome of the exercise, describing it as flawed and not reflective of the will of party stakeholders involved in the primaries.
Her reaction comes amid growing internal disputes within the Lagos APC following the conclusion of primary elections held to select candidates for upcoming political contests.
Party sources say tensions have continued to rise within some factions of the APC in Lagos State over allegations of unfair conduct and dissatisfaction with the results of the primaries.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the Lagos State APC leadership regarding her comments and the reported threat of protest.
