Gunmen Abduct Wife, Twin Children of Adelabu’s Brother in Ibadan

Gunmen have abducted the wife of a relative of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, along with her twin children in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday morning when the victims were heading out for school runs in the early hours of the day.
According to family sources, the attackers intercepted the vehicle and whisked the victims away to an unknown destination before any help could arrive.
Security agencies have been alerted and have already launched investigations and rescue operations aimed at securing the safe return of the victims.
The abduction has sparked concern among residents, as it adds to growing cases of kidnapping in parts of Oyo State and surrounding areas.
Community members have called for increased security presence, especially along routes commonly used during early morning movements.
Authorities have assured the public that efforts are ongoing to track the suspects and rescue the victims unharmed.
