President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed sadness over the death of Peter Onwubuariri, a media aide attached to the Presidential Villa.

Onwubuariri, who served as an Assistant Director of Media at the State House, was reportedly involved in the communication activities of the Presidency before his death.

President Tinubu condoled with the deceased’s family, colleagues and friends, describing his death as a painful loss.

The President also acknowledged Onwubuariri’s service and contributions within the media structure of the Presidential Villa, while extending his sympathies to those who worked closely with him.

Tinubu prayed for comfort and strength for the family and colleagues of the deceased during the period of mourning and also prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.

The death comes as the Presidential Villa continues to mourn the loss of a member of its media and communications team.

The Presidency has continued to recognise the important role played by its media personnel in communicating government policies, programmes and activities to Nigerians and the international community.
