Dangote Denies Ownership of Truck in Enugu Accident, Reveals True Owner

Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has clarified that its truck was not involved in the tragic road accident that occurred along the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway earlier this week.
According to investigations by the Enugu State Police Command, the vehicle responsible for the crash was registered to Visco Investment Global Limited, not Dangote.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Dangote Group emphasized that the truck does not belong to its fleet and that it will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities to ensure accurate reporting of the incident.
“We wish to categorically state that the truck in question does not belong to Dangote Industries. The true owner has been identified as Visco Investment Global Limited. We remain committed to road safety and responsible operations,” the company said.
The clarification follows public concern and widespread speculation after images of the accident surfaced online, with some reports suggesting the truck bore the Dangote logo.
Dangote Industries further noted that it is reviewing the matter to prevent unauthorized use of its branding on vehicles not owned by the company.
The company extended condolences to the families of victims affected by the accident and assured the public of its ongoing commitment to safety and corporate responsibility.
