Transport, Blue Economy Ministers to Attend TCAN Summit in Lagos

The Transportation Correspondents Association of Nigeria (TCAN) has announced that its 2nd Annual Transportation Summit will hold on September 24, 2025, in Lagos, with top government officials and industry stakeholders expected to attend.

The Minister of Transportation, Senator Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, are billed to grace the occasion as special guests of honour.

According to TCAN, the summit will focus on addressing pressing challenges in Nigeria’s transport and logistics sector, with particular emphasis on integration, safety, funding, and sustainability.

Industry experts, regulators, and private sector leaders are also expected to participate, making the summit a major platform for dialogue between policymakers and stakeholders.

The annual TCAN summit is designed to foster collaboration, promote investment opportunities, and shape policies that can strengthen the nation’s transportation and logistics systems.

This year’s edition is themed “Revamping Nigeria’s Transport and Logistics for Sustainable Growth.”
