President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his re-election as the Governor of Anambra State, describing the victory as a validation of the governor’s visionary leadership.

In a statement released shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Soludo the winner of the governorship election, President Tinubu praised the peaceful conduct of the polls and commended Anambra citizens for participating responsibly.

“Governor Soludo’s re-election reflects the confidence the people of Anambra have in his transformative leadership. This victory underscores his commitment to development, innovation, and inclusive governance,” the statement read.

President Tinubu also lauded the INEC and security agencies for ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process, which he said demonstrated Nigeria’s growing democratic maturity.

Governor Soludo, who contested under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), thanked voters for their support and reaffirmed his pledge to continue implementing policies aimed at infrastructural development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment across the state.

Political analysts have described Tinubu’s congratulatory message as a reinforcement of political goodwill and encouragement for collaborative governance in Anambra State, emphasizing unity after a competitive election.
